descorbeth

Descorbeth is a fashion lingerie company based out of New York. Sophisticated, elegant, trendy and powerful; these were some of the themes to be woven into the design process. In the end, the client felt that we achieved this and was quite pleased with the finished product.

Playa clara

As soon as we began work on this logo it became clear to us that the typeface should be indicative of an Island feel. Playa means beach in Spanish and that image was our main inspiration for this job. Playa Clara is a real estate company selling property on a small island in the Carribean so we took the liberty of creating a very graphic island illustration to go along with the logotype. Both the logotype and the symbol had their own unique design qualities and, when combined, make a strong impression.

resonancia

Resonancia is a post production film and sound company located in Puerto Rico. They were looking for a mark to represent what they did but were weary of anything too cliché. Resonancia translates to resonance in English so we used a tuning symbol to represent that what they do is fine tune the final product.

teascakes

If you like cheesecakes then you should try these. The company was aiming to create a logo for their new product line of exotic tea-infused cheesecakes. It took many sketches during the concept stage to arrive at this point, but we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Club Canine

This was an interesting project in which the goal was to communicate the relationship between the company and their clients. In this case the clients were dogs and their owners! The company also had a line of dog treats destined for store shelves and so we decided to create a bold, friendly and very visible symbol which showed how the company relates to their clients. The use of primary colors gave the symbol its final touch.

pour wine bar and cafe

Our goal for this café/wine bar was to keep a clean but strong symbol that spoke to a sophisticated crowd. The client came up with the idea of making the "U" in the word pour a wine glass and an image, very close to the end result, quickly came to mind.

kid concert series

Although this project was never launched we had a great time creating the concepts and felt as though they deserved a spot on the portfolio. We were approached by a producer with the concept of creating a series of musical events dedicated to kids; a “for kids”, “by kids” theme.

clip

The Clip MP3 player is a music playing device small enough to clip on your shirt and with a young target audience. We were inspired by the Japanese use of colors and round bubbly shapes as well as by the ever-emerging worldwide graffiti scene. We decided to create something clean and simple that harnessed all of those influences and definitely had a lot of fun in the process.

hosteria del mar

The client already had a logo but we felt it did not reflect their brand in a faithful manner. The hotel being on the water with breathtaking views was definitely the main inspiration for this project. In the end, the client felt we captured the essence of their location perfectly.

Federal Flood Hazard Research

It’s not everyday you are asked to create a logo for a company that researches flood zones. This was an interesting project since it could have taken many directions; and many were indeed explored during the concept stages. The client wanted to be clear and straightforward with the direction of the symbol. Hard edges, bold typography and a hint of dimension accurately communicate this company's brand.

clean image medical spa

Often we’re approached by companies already possessing a logo to undertake the design of their website. In the case of Clean Image, their existing logo wasn’t quite up to par and we were asked to undertake its redesign as well. The challenge for this logo was to create a symbol that encompassed beauty and was refreshing without being overly feminine, since the company currently caters to both a male and female clientele. To this end, we combined soft elegant lines to create the illustration with very clear and hard-edged typeface.

lu2 solutions

Financial institutions commonly have very straightforward and legible type treatments for their logos. The financial consulting services offered by LU2 Solutions provide clients with the key element for their success. The scientific table of elements came to mind and became the main visual component for a design that symbolized LU2 as the missing element for lasting success.

israel alicea law offices

For this law firm we were looking to employ a very simple yet strong usage of type. The goal was an elegant and clean logo that was distinctive and easily recognizable. Also, we were looking for a timeless symbol, something that had no need for an update. The end product was a very classic and elegant symbol.

pocillo

"Pocillo" is a colloquial term in Puerto Rico meaning small coffee. This logo was created for a coffee shop that was in the process of developing its brand before its grand opening. The shop itself was to be a small, informal place for gathering with friends over some good coffee. With the logo we wanted to capture this feeling of informality. The color scheme chosen and the inclusion of the coffee cup conveyed an image that was true to the client's goals
